jeeze, i think some … jeeze, i think some people read too much into it! haha of course its about gay hate, how silly of me! there was me thinkin it was just a funny commercial advertising prison break and superbowls. how wrong i was…?
I’d love to be in … I’d love to be in the room when this ad was being conceived, maybe something like “ok then we have the bi guy, come out and say “hey pretty” to one of the players, then they sack him! haha, ” or maybe MY PERCEPTION is wrong, either way. IT’S ING OFFENSIVE.
The end is the best … The end is the best part. “That ain’t how we roll, man!” LMFAO! I love Linc.
And yeah, bluejeansguy, you need to get over the whole “bashing gays” thing. If you know anything about the show, T-Bag-for one thing-isn’t gay, he’s bisexual (actually he’ll pretty much screw anything that moves), and he’s also a VERY nasty guy. THAT’S why he gets “bashed”, not because he’s gay.
…Unless you’re saying we should support our local serial killer/child molesters…?
The point is to … The point is to show how glbt people are portrayed (positively, negatively, or neutrally) in commercials. In this case, the one character from Prison Break makes a “pass” at one of the football players, then gets bashed. The remaining characters then have to act “straight” to “cover.” Not a positive way to treat the subject, and not a good way to teach children how to react to differences in people.
